A riotous, painterly celebration of art and the natural world, this exquisite duster is all at once romantic, ethereal, and so so cool. Inspired by the romance of European flower markets, we created this kimono using a masterful oil painting from the early 1600’s by artist Jan Brueghel, and an ink drawing of bumblebees we found in a Victorian insect encyclopedia. It has the look of a treasured vintage piece that will never go out of style. Dress it up or down — either way, expect compliments!
100% bamboo/wood viscose. Machine wash gentle or handwash and hang to dry.
Kimono measurements: After many requests from our customers to introduce a smaller size in our Opera Duster, we’re proud to announce a new petite option — cut slightly slimmer through the body and shorter through the sleeve. Classic Cut: length 116cm, width 78 cm (across back, underarm to underarm). Petite Cut: length 116 cm, width 73 cm (across back, underarm to underarm), sleeve depth and length is 5cm shorter than our Classic Cut. Model is 5’5” for reference and is wearing a Classic Cut duster.
